KIEWIT MEET AND GREET

Whether it’s experiencing once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, positively impacting communities, or living a life of unexpected adventures, everyone has a story to tell. What will yours sound like? The University of Kansas chapter of Engineers Without Borders has partnered with Kiewit to share ways you can apply your engineering skills to make a difference in the world, throughout your college career and beyond.

This year, EWB and Kiewit partnered to host a meet and greet event – something we have been doing since 2018. We share the same ideals and want to spread our passion with many others. We are also partnering with Black&Veatch for a second year for a meet and greet!

Fundraising

Much of our funding comes from fundraising events on campus, which has included football concessions, basketball concessions, proctoring School of Engineering practice exams, and LaunchKU (a crowdfunding campaign hosted by the University throughout the end of the Fall semester).

We appreciate every penny received through these fundraising outreaches – a lot of it wouldn’t be possible without people like YOU! All of the money we collect goes directly to the materials necessary for our projects. We wouldn’t be able to provide for these communities if we didn’t have friends, family, alumni, and corporate donors who care about our mission.
